ATHENS : When you GO TO GREECE please don't skip Athens or give it short shrift by spending a day on the way to the Islands..here is the birthplace of democracy, cookbooks, philosophy, science of medecine , art and architecture, theatre, bechamel sauce....etc etc etc.... This is our first day in Athens....the Plaka, the Metro Station at Syntagma Square. It took years to complete because of all the artifacts they kept finding at every level...amazing! Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a stroll through the gardens and up to the Acropolis to see some of the most breathtaking sights in the world.

BLOOMERS : Lots of camping trips, colorado, new mexico, wyoming, tennessee produce flowers in the wild. Garden varieties are wonderful too...take time to smell the flowers! red tulips were a valentine present. yellows were mostly in Colorado.

I feel challenged, especially in this frenetic time, to seek the harmony and beauty of the natural world, and once found, capture an instant that lifts the spirit and comforts the heart.
Tall order, and rarely successful.
But the joy for me is...being out there! And how important is it to escape the Time trap?

My photography days started later than I wish and so I have no body of work to share when I was young and leaping tall buildings in a single bound, but I welcome you to enjoy my work and give me feedback.
